Brendon Buck, BA (TCD), MRUP (UCD), Dip. (UD), Dip. (EIA/SEA), MIPI is a Town Planner and the head of the planning team.
His principal areas of expertise are the preparation of development appraisals, feasibility and viability studies, and planning negotiations and appeals.
He has provided project consulting services to a wide range of clients in both public and private sectors in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
His most recent positions include: Lecturer in Spatial Planning at Dublin Institute of Technology, where he taught under- and post-graduate courses in Spatial Planning, Planning Practice, and Urban Design, and Development Control Planning Officer with Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. He has also worked in the private sector.
His experience includes planning applications / appeals, planning / development appraisal studies, Local Plans / Development Plans / Action Plans, Housing Studies, Retail Studies, and Environmental Impact Assessment / Strategic Environmental Assessment.
He has attended Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin and maintains a degree in Economics, a Masters degree in Regional and Urban Planning, and diplomas in Urban Design and in Environmental Impact Assessment / Strategic Environmental Assessment. As a researcher his reports have been published in Ireland, the UK and Australia. He is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute.
